Sid Jansson, our longtime presenter at Cornelisdagen and extremely enthusiastic fish connoisseur, has left us in great need. For many, many years, Sid showed the show as a cultural carrier on a grand scale, and many of our professional songwriters have him to thank for their success. You can read online how several of these praise him as his role model and teacher. Sid turned 80 and has now moved on to meet others who have left us, for example Git Magnusson who together with Sid ran Vispråmen Storken. This was where many of our famous song interpreters received their first applause, and where most of our troubadours, female as well as male, were able to test their abilities in front of a knowing and loving audience.
